They advertise having a Monet but they only have 1. They do have a lot of art but most of it is religious art. Which was absolutely beautiful.

I absolutely loved visiting the Wallraf-Richartz Museum one of the most fascinating museums I’ve ever been to. I highly recommend setting aside at least 5 hours for the experience. Each gallery deserves around 1.5 hours on its own, especially the Baroque and Medieval collections. My perfect route: start with the Medieval and Baroque halls, then take a coffee break to process everything you’ve seen, and finish the visit in the Impressionism section an unforgettable ending. And definitely leave some extra time for the museum shop, it’s fantastic too! Special thanks to the museum director and the entire team everything is organized perfectly. The atmosphere, the curation, the details… simply outstanding. I’m already planning to come back again next week to dive even deeper into the collection. I truly recommend this museum to everyone even people who usually think art museums are boring will enjoy it here!
