Incredible spot. The kinda place that feels like home, even as a first timer. We got a cubano preparado, the bistec al caballo, with sides of tostones and maduros, alongside a colada and a maracuyá juice to drink. Every single bite and sip was fantastic. Everything's priced affordably, and the staff are the best part: friendly and welcoming, with an atmosphere all its own.

Came here to visit and have lunch as at came highly recommended. Decided to sit at the bar as I was alone. The service was great, the waiter was super helpful with helping decided what to get and also offered me a free beverage (some kind of milkshake) I got the classic Cuban sandwich. The sandwich was good but I can’t say it was the best sandwich I’ve ever had. But for the price I think it was pretty good value, decent size and well loaded but for me it lacked a bit of flavour. Overall this place will get excellent reviews as the atmosphere is fun, authentic and the service is friendly and excellent. Would definitely come back when visiting Miami.

I was looking for a traditional Miami cafecito and found this place not far from my hotel. I had the Cuban Dobel sandwich. The sandwich was absolutely incredible. Full of flavor and a huge portion. The colada was also exceptional.

Overall:9/10 Doble Cuban: 10/10 but it's so much pork I'd recommend a regular Cuban French Fries: Delicious, fresh and hot, don't even need salt Fried Chicken Cutlet: Huge! Needs some seasoning, at least on the onions. Thursday Special: Beef Stew. Bland, Beef was not tender enough for my liking. Beans were good, rice cooked perfectly.

Well, I finally got to visit this restaurant. I was in town for work and this place was highly recommended by multiple people. I wanted to have the entire sit down experience, but the place was packed! The ambiance was good and it felt like you were at a family reunion. I ended up ordering a Cuban Sandwich from the takeout window, since the wait time was going to be a bit long and I was in a hurry. 5 Minutes later, I got my sandwich, handed over by the owner. I told her it was my first day at her establishment. She welcomed me and hoped I liked the food and to come back when in town. She was super nice and humble. No wonder she is like a legend in the area. The sub was delicious. It had the perfect balance of ingredients and the bread was super fresh and crispy. I will definitely go back when in town. I was told the pan con bistec was fantastic and the ropa vieja was outstanding. Heck, I might try both!
