Great experience at Prime 112. We arrived without a reservation and were able to get a table outside, which was perfect for enjoying the Miami Beach atmosphere. Another big plus is that the restaurant stays open until midnight, making it a great option for a late dinner. They start you off with an excellent bread basket, featuring a variety of fresh breads served with sweet accompaniments and cheese — a really nice way to begin the meal. Each of us ordered a different dish: sea bass with miso sauce, salmon with mashed potatoes and asparagus, and tuna burgers. Everything was exquisite, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Service was also outstanding. Our waiter was attentive, professional, and made the whole experience feel smooth and relaxed. Overall, a fantastic dinner with great food, excellent service, and a lively setting. Definitely a place worth returning to in Miami Beach.
To start, check in was a little weird. Had a reservation at 9, checked in around 10 mins before and was told to chill at bar and they’ll find me. Patiently waited for30 mins and nothing. Had to ask host what’s going on and then a table was magically opened up. Rating goes off 4 categories: food, service, atmosphere, value The food was amazing!! The filet was cooked to perfection and very juicy, def recommend. The appetizers were also huge which was a plus. Truffle Mac and cheese was delicious and breading was nice touch. Mashed sweet potatoes brings me back to family thanksgiving with a nice portion. To finish we had the fried Oreos which were gooey and a perfect ending! Service was overall very attentive and was never flagging down the waiter. Atmosphere, the building itself was classy yet casual at the same time. A lot of the tables were kinda crammed close to each other leaving little walk through space. Seemed a bit more crowded than how I remembered. Value, prices are a bit high but typical for Miami. Some things seemed priced higher than usual but nevertheless a very enjoyable dinner and I look forward to coming back on a date night or special occasion!
Prime 112 was very delicious. Our waiter James was so friendly and so nice and was very helpful with helping us pick what to order. I have Celiac and have a gluten allergy and he was very helpful to help us pick what I could and couldn’t eat. We ordered the filet mignon, the cream corn and the double baked truffle baked potato. We also got the NY Wagyu strip which was a special for that day. The oysters were pretty small, but they were still delicious. The drinks were really good. Great experience and will be back for a special occasion.
This is one of my absolute favorite restaurants. I try to come here at least once a year for my birthday and also other instances if I’m able to. I live a little bit far away from it and I try to make time to go for a special occasions as much as I can for anybody’s birthday. The short rib with cheese grits is my favorite dish as well as the crabcake. The service here is also amazing every time I go the food is perfect and amazing and so is the service.
This continues to be our go to place. This time Erika was our server. She continued the excellent service we are use to anytime we eat there. The food at Prime 112 is out of this world hot, fresh and the taste was incredible. Portions are family sized and we always doggie bag when we leave. I will be highlighting again on my podcast on Instagram @ 3am Fog. Great job
