Good food, but watch the service and sneaky pricing Food: The food here is decent and tasty, though nothing extraordinary. I ordered a hot standard lobster roll, a crab dip, and a local blonde ale. The lobster roll was good, but the crab dip and the accompanying bread were incredibly garlicky. By the end of the meal, the heavy garlic left me feeling a bit nauseated, so keep that in mind if you are sensitive to strong seasoning. Service: For the price point, the service felt pretty "meh." When I arrived, I was just handed a menu and told to sit "wherever I want." No tap water was offered or brought to the table. Additionally, the waitress mentioned I could add a side to my lobster roll, but omitted the fact that it came with an extra fee (the price was on the manu but I missed, yet a reminder would have been nice) Value & Pricing: The base prices are okay for South Beach, but there is a major catch at checkout. The restaurant automatically applies a mandatory 18% service charge to the bill, but the payment terminal still prompts you for an additional tip on top of it. In my opinion, it should be one or the other, not both. Overall: 7/10. Decent for a casual bite by the beach, but they definitely need to improve their service transparency.

Ordered two drinks, two lobster rolls and the lobster salad — everything was delicious and fresh. The pricing felt a bit high for the portion size (especially the rolls) but that’s pretty typical for Miami, especially once service charges and tips are added. Ms. Domingues was very kind and made the experience even better with her friendly conversation and service. Not somewhere I’d visit regularly, but definitely worth trying if you’re in the South Beach area and enjoy seafood.

Originally I was very excited to try this place. Excellent reviews with lobster being the apparent speciality which is reflected in the name and menu. Was difficult to decide between a roll or the surf and turf burger, I decided on the later since I’d get extra protein. I appreciate the portion size, you get a very large patty. However, this was one of the most tasteless burgers I’ve ever had in my life. I can’t count how many times I needed to add a generous amount of salt and pepper, basically after each bite. I requested the burger rare and to my surprise, it was cooked as requested which I was glad about. You get a nice amount of lobster on top which I enjoyed, unfortunately most of it was pretty chilled which paired oddly with the warm burger. Wasn’t a fan of the cheese, tasted like regular American cheese. The bacon was the highlight, crunchy but not burnt and thick-cut. Probably should’ve ate the bacon together with the burger, it could’ve added some of the flavor that was lacking, I also ate the lobster separately. Unfortunately, none of the meals have the option to come with fries. I originally sat outside but I was harassed by a roach that did not seem to want to go away, this made me reluctant to eat here but after googling I found that they’re quite common if not the most common in southern Florida (so I’m not sure if it’s reflective of the resturant’s hygiene or not). I also had one drink, which the waitress was nice enough to comp (without asking) as an apology for the less than par service. I appreciate how apologetic the waitress was, she was genuinely sorry for having me wait so long before she was ready to take my order. I wasn’t in a time crunch so it didn’t bother me much, I know that things come up. The drink was pretty good, nice quantity- I had the rum punch, I liked that it’s a mix of dark and spiced rum (not a fan of spiced rum) so the spiced rum isn’t very pronounced. As far as the atmosphere it is pretty nice, plentiful outdoor seating and a fairly clean restroom. Nice location right in South Beach, not far from the strip. Overall, I do recommend, I wouldn’t recommend what I ordered but I would consider giving this place another chance by trying one of their warm lobster rolls. I didn’t try the Cole slaw that came with it but it looked okay.

As a local, one of our favorite spots! Great place right off the beach! We had oysters, the 1.5 pound Lobster 🦞 with wedge salad and the shrimp roll. All cooked perfectly! They have a lot of local draft beer options, my favorite was the Blood orange IPA from South Beach Brewing Company, paired great with the seafood!
