Post-Broadway tacos that are truly worth it! 🌮 • Super convenient location near the Minskoff Theatre; perfect for a quick bite after the show. • The Pollo Asado was delicious. A bit pricey for the size, but understandable given the quality and prime location. • There was a line, but it moved quickly. Staff were efficient and fast with orders. • Best part: loads of salsa and spicy sauce! Love that they have a condiments corner where you can add as much as you want. • Highly recommended!
If you're starving, this may not be the best place simply because the line is lengthy. Expect to wait 30+ minutes standing in a line outside the restaurant. The wait is absolutely worth every bite! Er'thing, and I do mean, Er'thang is delicious. The Agua frescas are really good as well. Highly recommend going. If you're lucky to find table corner inside the restaurant, you'll enjoy eating standing up.
Although it may seem like there aren’t many options at first, it’s actually quite customizable, which is helpful for first-time visitors. After telling the cashier how many tacos and quesadillas you’d like, you’ll be asked two additional questions while your order is being prepared: 1. Corn or flour tortilla? 2. Topping choice: guacamole, salsa, or onions. If you’re visiting New York, this place is definitely worth a stop. The lines can get very long, but they move surprisingly fast. As for drinks, I’d recommend trying the Mexican soda—it’s really good.
A SERIOUSLY GOOD TACO!! ——-> Let me tell you, I’ve eaten a lot of tacos in my days from many parts of our beautiful country and this is a seriously good taco. You can tell the tortilla is made fresh! The meat is juicy and they load it on! They put a ton of guacamole and topping and wrap each taco with love. I knocked one star because for street style tacos they are EXPENSIVE. I get that it’s New York and all but dang. One taco and a quesadilla ran us $15… I would still recommend getting tacos here as the only other place that I’ve had tacos this good is in California. They also have a decent salsa bar with radish and a red/green salsa.
This place is definitely worth trying at least once. The tacos were good and fresh, and you can tell they use quality ingredients. That said, in my opinion they were just okay and didn’t fully live up to the hype for me. I’m still glad I stopped by and got to try them for myself, it’s one of those places you kind of have to experience when you’re in the city. Just be patience as it’s always busy.
