This was an unforgettable experience. The small dining room allows for impeccable attention to detail with service and at no moment would you feel a need or want without it already being taken care of. I felt undeserving of the royal treatment. Certain dishes brought a tear to my eye. You can truly taste exactly how each vegetable is meant to taste, done to its utmost perfection. You can feel the love and care taken with the menu and dishes.

Pure, delicious and beautiful. We had a lunch tasting meniu on a rainy Monday. It is a cosy atmospheric restaurant. Love the wall with all the flora and fauna. Every dish was exceptionally well prepared, going back to the roots, pure. Salad and asperges in hay were our favourites. The chef is very warm and charismatic person and once you meet him just for few minutes, you know he puts his heart and soul in his restaurant and dishes. Thank you for the experience and wish many more years of succesful plant based culinary experience ❤️

I thought the restaurant was vegetarian but it became vegan at some point. I am neither vegetarian nor vegan but have been trying to eat less meat and more plant based so still game to try it. It did not disappoint. Food was seasonal and fresh. Unexpected and delicious. You’ll still need to bring your checkbook though. Worth it for the unique experience.

This was the first three-star Michelin restaurant I’ve dined at in continental Europe. Of course, it now features an all-vegetable menu, so it was a bit of a pity that I couldn't order any meat dishes à la carte. High-end French restaurants often have many aspects that aren't very tourist-friendly, such as limited operating hours, being closed on many days, not opening for lunch, and refusing reservations for solo diners. That is exactly why I couldn't book Le Gabriel, another three-star restaurant I had my eye on; I could only apply for a waitlist with no guarantee of a spot. To play it safe, I had to choose a different restaurant. However, Arpège is quite friendly in this regard—at the very least, they accept reservations for one. Plus, I could secure a booking just over a month in advance, unlike those Japanese restaurants where you have to book eons ahead or deal with bizarre 'regular customers only' rules. Before arriving, I was actually a bit worried I wouldn't be full. I even looked up nearby restaurants that stay open late, planning to grab a late-night snack afterwards to fill up. But after the meal, I realized my worries were completely unnecessary. The different vegetables provided such varied stimulation to my taste buds that, for the first time, my brain felt a sense of fatigue just from eating vegetables. Usually, I only experience this sensation when eating rich, savory meat dishes, like a large steak or game meat. Of course, the price for this vegetable menu was eye-watering—after all, most people spending this kind of money would expect a feast of meat and fish. However, it was still a truly unique experience. For a legendary chef of traditional French cuisine, who already held three stars, to step out of his comfort zone and completely transform his restaurant into a vegetable-focused one is an incredibly bold move. How many people truly possess that kind of vision?"

Food was good. Amazing that the master chef was able produce such a culinary experience with just vegetable. We were served by knowledgeable staff who made the correct recommendations for food and wine. In addition, we were fortunate to be invited into hid kitchen We were o meet the master chef in person following our meal. He kindly invited us into his kitchen, where we saw him in action and had the opportunity to speak with him. This allowed us to gain an understanding of his culinary concept and the techniques he uses to convey his ideas through his cooking.
