Our stay at The Lodge at Torrey Pines this past weekend was absolutely exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The property itself is stunning — beautifully maintained with breathtaking coastal views and such a peaceful, luxurious atmosphere. The rooms were comfortable, and impeccably clean, making it easy to completely relax and enjoy the weekend. Every detail throughout the resort feels thoughtfully curated, from the gorgeous architecture to the cozy outdoor spaces and impeccable landscaping. The dining experience was equally impressive, with delicious food, wonderful service, and an ambiance that perfectly captured the charm of the property. Whether enjoying morning coffee overlooking the grounds or an evening by the fire, every moment felt special. This was truly one of the most memorable and relaxing getaways we’ve had. We already look forward to returning and would highly recommend The Lodge at Torrey Pines to anyone looking for a refined, tranquil experience.

The Lodge was really nice, and my family had an amazing time here. I didn't want to leave! The whole ambience is relaxing, and they really lean into being in the nature. The facility is well-maintained and beautiful. Sitting in the pool and the hot tub, looking at the beautiful Torrey Pines golf course was so special. Service was great; I could text any questions I had which was handy, and everyone was really friendly. In terms of location, I loved that there were so many trails we could access from the lodge. A client hosted their executive meeting at the Lodge at Torrey Pines this week in the Alfred Mitchell room. The experience the Conference Services, Banquets, AV and AR Valentien team delivered for group was genuinely one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in my career. They didn't miss one single detail. Beth Roberson answered every question and was deeply supportive during the contracting phase and beyond. It never felt like a transaction between a venue and a corporate group, but instead like a gracious host welcoming us to their space. Taylor Owens' professionalism and poise truly stood out, and her proactive planning, attention to every detail and consistent communication set the standard for what every Conference Services Manager should strive to deliver. Roberto, Alex, Antonio and Stefan were incredibly attentive, kind and truly wanted to make every moment special for our guests. When we needed something or a modification was made, your team was immediately on it. Joe and Jason from the AV team were always first to jump in when we had a technology-related question - they even came to support the banquet team when we changed the setup of the room. And AR Valentien of course was the pièce de résistance for the group, with their 5-star cuisine and impeccable service from the staff. The client already plans to contract for 2027 at the Lodge due to this experience. Thank you for setting the bar so high and making the work I do so fulfilling.

From the start Sean's greeting upon arrival set the stage for a great experience. Javier and Lucas run the registration desk with efficiency and made sure the accommodations were perfect for us. Marla the receptionist at the Grill Room controls the flow of guest for lunch. She ensured the table was available timely and then assigned Ryo to provide excellent table service The Grill Room serves delicious burgers and sandwiches with assorted sides. Manager Malachy stopped by and inquired how the service was and how we were enjoying our stay. Good habit. Dean at dinner with Heather and Etan provide a remembering experience. The ahi was excellent along with the Risotto and NY Strip. A nice day was had by all. Bob and Cody made sure the car were available timely this morning for a trip Del Mar and front entrance services were organized. Josh and Leslie had the pool area functioning well with Pool and Bar service. Note that the lounge chairs are the best around with full cushions. Ms. Jimenez, Director of Housekeeping, was inspecting rooms this afternoon to insure they were ready and Dennis had our room looking special. So if you have read this whole write-up, you will get the gist that The Lodge at Torrey Pines is for you. They make your visit special.

I would like to express my concern regarding a charge for a missed spa appointment. I made a last-minute reservation the evening prior, just before the spa closed, as I was hoping to come in that same day. The appointment was scheduled for the following morning at 8:00 AM. Unfortunately, I had an unexpected emergency that required me to leave the hotel by 7:00 AM. I did attempt to call ahead; however, I realized the spa was not yet open. While I was unable to leave a message, I made a reasonable effort to Call the team prior to the appointment. I understand there may be a cancellation policy in place; however, this policy was not communicated to me at the time the reservation was made. Had I been made aware, I would have taken additional steps to ensure proper notice was given. It would have been courteous and appropriate for the front desk to mention this policy when booking the appointment, particularly given the last-minute nature of the reservation. Additionally, I was disappointed with the interaction regarding this matter. Instead of acknowledging the lack of communication, the situation was attributed solely to policy without consideration of the circumstances. Given the level of spending during my stay, I would have expected a more understanding and accommodating approach. While I do appreciate the property and its views, this experience has left a negative impression. Charging the full amount under these circumstances feels unreasonable, particularly when emergencies can arise unexpectedly.
