Old-world, brick-lined restaurant serving generous portions of traditional Polish cuisine.via Google

A themed but genuinely popular spot for Polish classics, especially useful if you want a central meal that feels rooted in local dishes rather than generic European fare.

Visited for Friday lunch and walked in without a reservation — managed to get a table despite it being busy, which was a pleasant surprise. The food was excellent — generous portions, piping hot and well presented. Exactly what you want from traditional Polish cuisine. Service was friendly and warm throughout. Oh, and the toilets were spotless — always a good sign! Highly recommended.

Great atmosphere and decor, one table is even in a car. Would definitely recommend going in the evening. The food was absolutely delicious, great portions and reasonably priced too Would definitely recommend the sharing board for 2 and the dumplings. Only criticism is that the food took a long time to come out, but apart from that it was a brilliant experience

We visited this restaurant because of its great reputation, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to the expectations. While we enjoyed the soup, the other dishes were disappointing. My son’s steak was quite tough, and overall, the food didn't sit well with us—I actually felt unwell during the night. The atmosphere and the historical setting are definitely interesting, but based on our experience with the food, we wouldn't return

Fun experience! Queue to be seated, rain or shine Decorations, atmosphere, location: everything was good. Friendly attentive staff. Our food took 1.5 hours to be served even though we were told it'd be a 40 min wait. Large portions. You can get a to go box for 2.50pln. The food is good but a little too salty which can be expected from a restaurant.

Many times i was passing by and was wondering how it's inside and how the food is. Finally I took my Mum for a mothers day this year. Awesome setting and decor inside with a lot of period character, plenty of seating, professional, attentive servers serving with a smile and touch of personality (not like a robots) and above all, delicious Polish food in good portions and reasonable prices. Definitely worth the visit if you're nearby.
